A Sponsorship and Reimbursement Program for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
The purpose of the Southern Arizona Network for Down Syndrome (SANDS) Give it Back! Program is to provide a
medium by which SANDS can give back some of the funds it raises directly to individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
We strongly believe that giving back directly to families and individuals is an extremely important part of our mission to
enrich the lives of those with Down syndrome and fulfilling the needs of the community we serve. In addition to helping
families financially, a desirable benefit of the program is to inspire families to explore new and/or alternative options
that may not be otherwise considered.
In order to qualify for any option within this program the applicant must be an individual with Down syndrome or a
parent/legal guardian of an individual with Down syndrome, and live within Southern Arizona (Pima, Cochise, Santa Cruz,
Graham, Yuma counties – residents of Pinal county who live south of Casa Grande and closer to Tucson than Phoenix are
also welcome to apply).
